INFORMATION
APPROACH
Mt. Calvary Lutheran School's curriculum is firmly rooted in reading, listening skills, oral communication, written expression, mathematics, social studies/history, religion and science. Age-appropriate exposure to art, Spanish, computers, physical education, library, and music further enriches the program.
COMMITMENT
Teachers at Mt. Calvary Lutheran School cultivate a close, nurturing, personable campus where children feel secure, valued, and successful. The program is expansive in its scope, yet sensitive to the individual steps that make up the journey of each student.
ENGAGEMENT
We believe that children learn best by doing, and the students of Mt. Calvary Lutheran School do a lot. They are continually encouraged to explore their creative and intellectual potential through special projects, presentations, assemblies, field trips, team sports, service projects, and the visual and performing arts.
CLASS SIZE
Mt. Calvary Lutheran School maintains a low teacher to student ratio by limiting enrollment for each grade level. Classroom learning takes place in a variety of small group settings offering the students the personal attention that they need. The result is a family environment with happy, engaged children who love learning.
